The other way would be to use an advanced VR headset like Meta Quest. That is what I personally use, so will mostly be providing details based on that device.
I find those two to be the best technical solution…
Then you simply have to find a web site that will provide you the type of VR experience you are looking for. There are many sites that allow you to view 2 or 3 minutes of a movie for free, along with endless amounts of pay sites. I will provide more details and suggestions later on…
Cell Phone VR Headset
I personally find the VR Empire model the best. I found it held the device the best, provided the best viewing area and overall had the best experience. I wore mine out and had to buy a new one tried other models and came back to this one.
Navagating the experience using your cell phone is less than ideal, but if you are on a budget, it’s worth the effort.
But…For the best VR experience you will want to purchase a Oculus or something comparable.
A dedicated VR device like the Oculus just improves the whole experience, from comfort to quality to ease of use.
